1946 Rensch ( Paris Cycles) SWB Tandem
Made by a short lived commercial venture. Rensch bicycles were hand built, to the customers’ own specification, whilst the frames, in particular, enjoyed an excellent reputation. This tandem is a beautifully innovative design, which still looks contemporary today. It has spent the past fifteen years in a private collection, but has seen some serious use in its earlier life. Its twenty first century debut is long overdue
Its gearing is provided by a 1949 Sturmey Archer, three speed, AW hub.
The influence of Claude Butler is inescapably apparent in the the design and concept of all Rensch products, which can’t be a bad thing and should be seen as a respectful homage.
Packing, shipping, air freight economically priced and arranged to your door.
