Finished in Guardsman blue with original black leather interior. Originally sold by the AC factory in 1960 as an AC Ace with the 6 cylinder AC engine. This car has extensive competition history from the 1960s 70s and is accepted by the AC Owner’s Club as being one of the most raced cars in the club's history. There is a huge competition file with the car including period photos, Motoring News reports, race results and scrutineering tags along with many Race programme entries. The car has been modified throughout it’s competitive life which is well documented. This car now has all the running gear of a Cobra 289 with all independent suspension, disc brakes, Ford 289 V8 and the T10 gearbox. It is a most exciting motorcar and features stright through exhaust pipes.

The engine has been fully rebuilt in the last twelve months by Kings Mews Racing and now benefits from new cylinder heads, pistons, bearings etc. and having covered just 500 miles since, is yet to be fully run in. This is by no means a concours car, but it has a well patinated, comfortably used look and feel. The car drives exceptionally well and still has plenty of competitive miles to run or fun in the sun. Complete with FIVA International Historic papers, competition eligibility and 12 months MOT.
