Body:

Full rebuild by MG Motorsport including front wings, half rear wings, doors, sills, floor, flush valances front and rear, fuel tank, interior retrim etc.
Resprayed original colour - Grampian Grey.

Suspension/steering:

Uprated torsion bars,
Spax adjustable dampers front and rear,
¾ inch anti-roll bar,
Competition rear springs,
Superflex bushes all-round,
Offset nylatron trunnion bushes,
Rose jointed anti-tramp system (engineered by A J Barnard),
High ratio steering rack,
51/2J Minilite wheels (Yokohama A Drive 185/65 R15) plus
6J Minilite wheels (Yokohama 048 195/55 R15).

Brakes:

Standard (new) front discs, EBC Green Stuff pads,
New calipers,
Competition rear linings,
Braided brake pipes,
Race brake fluid.

Transmission:

Re-built gearbox with o/d, switch on gear lever,
Tran-X limited slip differential.

Engine:

Full rebuild by A J Barnard Engineering,
Gas flowed lead-free cylinder head (Peter Burgess),
Maniflow 6 Branch manifold,
Maniflow twin box exhaust,
Triple Weber 45DCOE carburettors on Webcon inlet manifolds, ITG double filters,
Kent AH4 camshaft,
Flywheel lightened 35%,
Omega Forged pistons,
Pistons/con rods/crank/flywheel and clutch balanced,
Compression ratio 9.2:1,
High Torque starter motor,
Facet fuel pump,
Rolling road tested on completion; 188bhp at 5257 rpm, 202 lb ft torque at 3348 rpm.
