Finished in TR Powder blue this most pretty and interesting TR3A has just arrived in our showrooms.
Imported from the USA in 2009, the car has since been the subject of a ground up restoration, with a CD-Rom showing the full extent of the work. Modifications made include an uprated engine with overdrive gearbox together with uprated suspension and with thicker anti roll bars, KN Minilite type alloy wheels with wider 195/60x15 tyres, leather bucket seats, stainless steel large bore sports exhaust system, roll over bar and full weather equipment.
The engine has been bored to take 87mm +40 pistons, lightened flywheel, all balanced, TRGB fast road camshaft, narrow belt conversion and damper.
The gearbox has been replaced with a TR6 modified box with J type overdrive on 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
There is a 70amp alternator fitted, high torque starter motor, electronic ignition, completely rewired and upgraded to modern circuits/fuses and a battery cut-out switch is fitted under the dashboard.
Other items fitted are a new servo, Spax shocks, rack & pinion steering and competition anti-roll bar.
Two Revington bucket seats are fitted and full three point seatbelts and mountings are present with the car. There is a hood, tonneau and side-screens, also fitted to the windscreen sides are wind deflectors.
