A superb original condition rare TR4A released for sale by an estate executor.
Supplied new in the UK the car was sold to an italian enthusiast in 1976 who drove it to Brescia Italy and thus having spent most of its life in sunny dry Italy this car is in superior original rust free condition. It returned to the UK in 2000 when it was put into storage. A recent telephone conversation with an early owner revealed that (pre Italy) the car had received a light retoration including a hand painted coachline which is still in place.
The car features overdrive on 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears and freshly powder coated wire wheels with new tyres.
In Febuary 2012 a full brake system overhaul was completed as part of recommissioning schedule. A recent 50 mile drive revealed a tight yet smooth car with genuine 1960's atmosphere. A hood bag and new hood have just been fitted. The mileage displayed on the odometer shows 39,950 which may well be correct. Superb panel fit and generally very 'taught', up and together. Not many in this lovely original condition and drives superbly.
