This car comes to us complete with a Fiva Identity card
No 014635 & a history of having completed the Mille Miglia for which it is still of course eligible.
The chassis number is D4/422/L. Reg Number JM1539

The car is finished in black with a cream leather interior. The condition of the car is mainly original Thus the paint is not new & shiny, but instead quite flat & with a very period patina The interior is in good original condition. The wire wheels are finished in red, which contrasts strikingly with the black coachwork.

The engine was rebuilt recently by the predecessors of Ecurie Bertelli. Thus the engine fires readily & settles down to an even idle. She pulls strongly through all the gears & unusually for a pre war car is quite comfortable in modern traffic, easily reaching 70MPH & feeling as though she might want to go quite a bit faster. Oil pressure is good being fed from a reserve tank on the front of the car, as the engine is a dry sump unit.

Being a long chassis model, the car is a full four seater with weather gear making it usable for family outings.

The gear box is in a reverse pattern to that of today, with first being where fourth would normally be found.
Likewise the foot pedals are transposed with the accelerator being centrally mounted & brake pedal to the far right. Driving her however is a skill that may be quickly mastered.

The car comes with assorted Brooklands history & mention may be found of it in many period Aston Martin
publications.

Most importantly it is Eligible for the Mille Miglia.
