A most interesting discovery. Ordered by Mr King, the deputy chairman of Freestone and Webb - Rolls Royce coach builders. Just 33,000 miles from new and in extraordinary original condition. Painted Roman Purple at the Radford works and fitted with almost every option available. Original build/order sheets on file and claimed to be the 2nd most expensive mini ever built at £5300 (the original standard Cooper S was just £830).
Exhibited at the Paris Motor Show, it remained in Paris until aprox 12 years ago and period custom built Paris registration plates are still with the vehicle. Resold by Bramley garage (invoice on file) carefully stored in private collection and now back in uk.
