This 1967 Austin-Healey Sprite Mark IV is fitted with the correct 1275cc engine. A recent restoration included: a reconditioned engine, with less than 19,000 miles, on the clock, stainless steel exhaust, new wings and top quality repaint, in original Healey colour of Mineral Blue. There are new black seat covers, with white piping, inertia reel seatbelts, rear springs and it has had a full suspension overhaul. It has also been freshly wax-oiled. The original tonneau cover, still with the vehicle, fits perfectly, like a glove, as does the beautiful matching navy blue Mohair hood, with its new rear windows. The detailed engine bay has an oil cooler and supplimentary Kenlowe electric fan. There is also a Moto-Lita wood rim steering wheel. The car drives very sweetly and handles superbly. It obtained a new Mot on feb 5, 2010 with consumate ease. The writer can confirm, as a 1275 Mk IV owner myself, that this is one of those cars that is quite endearing and will capture your heart, it certainly did mine. I came very, very, very close to buying it myself. This one really is the bees' knees and I don't say that very often. A little gem that looks gorgeous and drives - well what more can I say.
