This delightful car is finished in Old English White with the original and unmarked red/grey fleck interior.
It was originally registered to a District Nurse (Nurse Wookey in Marlborough) on 1st October 1961. Detailed original service records are present showing service history from new until 1970 when total mileage covered was only 14,169 (average annual mileage of approx 1,500 miles).
Current mileage is 37,879 and this is believed to be genuine (supported by previous MOTs). The original ‘Morris Maintenance Service Voucher Book’ is present.
The car was subject to a full restoration which was completed in 1998 and it has only been used for shows since. It has been stored in a dehumidified garage and has covered less than 2,000 miles in the 12 years since restoration.
It is therefore presented today in "better than new" condition and is a wonderful example of an early and highly original Mark 1 Mini
