Triumph For Sale from Sussex Sports Cars

Salvatore Ruffino, whose company was the Italian distributor for Standard Triumph, was convinced there was a market for a sophisticated two-seater coupe based on the TR3A chassis. Giovanni Michelotti styled this attractive car with echoes of his Maserati 3500 design, and it was shown at Turin in 1958. Ruffino commissioned Vignale to build 1000, though only 329 were actually built between 1959 and 1962.
