Built by Sterling to special order in the early 1970's for an R.A.F Wing Commander - it was specified with a heavy duty chassis suitable for overseas caravan touring. When first built an air conditioning unit was fitted on the roof, the caravan was then delivered to Saudi Arabia where it was used for many years and naturally towed overland back to the U.K!!!! behind a special order Rover SD1 3500SE that was also in our possession. Having had just one owner from new, this timewarp post war caravan has come to us with not only it's original bill of sale but also an itemised log kept by the owner stating all expenditure on the caravan. The alloy panels have just been refinished to a very high standard with a new coat of paint. The caravan retains all of it's original fixtures and fittings in very fine preserved condition.
