This MGB seems to be 100% original having been previously owned by Mr Dave Mitchell an enthusiast/amateur racing driver who used the car until 1984 when the car was put into dry storage in an industrial unit in Belgium. The tax disc in the windscreen is dated December 1984.
A more original and unmolested MGB would be hard to find. The odometer reading of 86,800 is correct. The recent restoration and top quality repaint have given the car a fresh look. We have recently acquired the BARC badge, 1960's RAC badge, Irish Motor Racing Club badge and MG Car Club badges from Mr Mitchell which were fitted to the front grill when new. A mechanical overhaul has been completed including the braking system, new exhaust system, 5 new painted wire wheels and fresh new tyres. A Period fonned alloy rocker cover is still in place with the Derrington cylinder head. The original Ace number plates that were supplied when the car when new have been re-fitted. A original period push button Pye radio is fitted. The original chrome plated BMC seat belts are still with the car.
