1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Convertible Sold - £POA

This beautiful example of a genuine michigan assembled 351ci V8 Mustang Convertible is very special indeed. Rarely do you see these underrated Mach 1 cars in such good condition as this. Having been the property of one coupe for the last 11 years, the car was treated to an engine rebuild in 1999 shortly prior to their ownership, and travelled just 10,000 miles on the fresh engine with bills to support. At the same time as the engine, the suspension was also rebuilt.

This Mustang aslo benefits from being converted to an unleaded cylinder head, has supporting MOTs back to 1991 when it showed 19,000 miles (now 33,000) and even a past auction entry from Miami in 1989 stating 19,000 miles.

The power hood is fully operational and in good condition with only very light creasing to the rear window. All shut lines and panel gaps are excellent and the paint quality looks fresh with a deep shine. The wheels are all in excellent and shine in all the right places with good tyres and plenty of tread.

Structurally the car is very solid and is not reported to have been in any accidents as you'd expect from a car which has clearly lived a pampered life. THe interior is very good indeed.

As you can imagine the car drives very well with both engine and gearbox behaving themselves and pulling strongly, and importantly for a Mustang the car stops in a straight line.

THe car is accompanied with a healthy history file, UK V5C logbook and current MOT.

Packing, shipping, air freight economically priced and arranged to your door.
